The Split Belt Powered Conveyor was created for a customer with a wide range of products, who needed print for expiry date and lot number for the bottom of a container. The respective containers would get filled with food products then get a clear overwrap film. Once their food product is wrapped, it has to be marked with a production date, time, lot number, and expiry date.

The wrapped products will be coming from an automatic l-bar sealing machine at about 60 products/min and cannot be filled. Therefore our engineers decided to design the conveyor system to receive the product from the customers’ conveyor, mark the bottom and transfer it onto customers’ existing downstream equipment for further processing.
